The Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer ‘Kick’ was one of the most successful movies of the year 2014. The filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed to news reporters that he is currently working on the script for the sequel to the original film. Without a doubt, Salman Khan would be a part of the new movie making it one of the most awaited Bollywood movies but there is doubt over who would be his leading lady as according to rumors, Jacqueline won’t be a part of this movie. Instead of her, Sajid is looking forward to rope in other actresses to be a part of the film.
Salman Khan’s Kick 2 Movie Plot
The first part of the movie ‘Kick’ was a remake of the Telugu Movie by the same name, released in 2009. In the first part of Hindi version of this movie, Salman Khan plays the role of a notorious man, ‘Devil’ who is tired of the system and has decided to game it by himself. The second part of the movie series would see Salman Khan portraying a double role in the movie, one of the good guy and other of the bad one. The idea of a double role might be debatable but no one can deny that most Filmmakers are actually embracing the idea and conceptualizing it in their Hindi movies.
Salman Khan’s Kick 2 Release Date
Currently, Salman Khan is shooting for his upcoming Bollywood movies, ‘Tubelight’, and would be joining the cast of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ after that. It is expected that Bollywood film ‘Kick 2’ is set to go on floors by the end of 2024 or by early 2025. However, no official release date of Salman Khan’s Kick 2 film has been given yet.
Kick 2 Star Cast
As mentioned above, Salman Khan would be seen in a double role in the film, playing as the Kick 2 villain in one of them. Also, it is confirmed that Jacqueline Fernandez won’t be a part of the sequel. According to the rumors, Amy Jackson and Kriti Sanon have been roped in as ‘Kick 2’ actress. The rest of the ‘Kick 2’ star cast has not been released yet.

According to many Bollywood reporters and sources, the shooting for the film has not started as of yet. We expect that Salman Khan’s Kick 2 first poster and teaser to be released by the end of first quarter of 2018 when a portion of the movie would have been shot. There has been no confirmation about the Kick 2 songs who would be providing the music for them.

Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’ was a blockbuster hit when it was released in 2014 and fans would be expecting another such hit for the sequel also. Although, there is no confirmation about the Kick 2 releasing date but we are hearing from Bollywood sources that the movie would be released by the 2024 year-end. We just cannot control for the Kick 2 trailer to be officially released to see what the ‘Devil’ has in store for us next year.
