The Olympics is one of the most awaited sporting events which happen throughout the world. The IOC decided to sell the broadcasting rights for the 2016 Olympics to GrupoGlobo. The deal allows the company to cover the Olympics over the Radio, on pay TV and also give them with digital rights to the whole games. The Rio Olympics 2016 TV Broadcasting channels for a number of countries include YLE for England, Canal+ in France, ZDF in Germany, NBC Universal in America and Dentsu in Asia.
2016 Rio Olympics Schedule & Fixtures

The Olympics will start with the opening ceremony on the 5th August with the sporting events to start from the next day. Although the first few rounds for the Football sporting event will start on 3rd August. The Olympics 2016 will officially end with the Closing Ceremony on the 21st August.
